NEW CAMERA

I was so excited when i got my new camera, but Jake had decided that it wasn't good enough. He told me that he was sending it back. Yesterday he bought this beaut for me. I am SO SO EXCITED!! HE went all out getting the 50D. cant wait to take pictures now!!

5 year Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to US!! TO tell you the truth, i wasn't expecting anything over the top. Oh was i wrong!! Jake sure impressed me this year!! It was our 5 year, and he really thought this one out.

He started by giving me my first present for year # 1 which was a 5 gallon bucket with all the essentials.

The second present for year # 2 was a pair of earrings with 2 hoops.

The third present for year # 3 was 3 gift cards to Starbucks. 1 big one for me, and 2 little ones representing the 3 most important people in his life.

The fourth present was 2, 10 pound weights which represents the amount of weight he has gained since being married. 20 pounds divided by 5 = 4. Very creative!!

Preset number 5... A 5 star restaurant, with a 5 course meal, located off of I-5, and built in 1853.

And on top of all of that, he got me my new Canon T1i. He definitely out did himself. HE is the greatest Hubby ever! Thanks again for a wonderful 5 years, and many more to come.

Merry Christmas

Kadance made this at preschool and was so excited to bring it home. She kept telling me that she was making something special for Christmas but it was a surprise, and she stuck to it. I was very impressed. It is so cute!!

Pinnacle Party

You have no idea how excited i was when i found this!! Ever since we went sledding i have been looking for a one piece snow outfit for HEaton. I just think that they are more comfy for the little ones. I have gone to every store out there, and to no avail. I finally found it in Utah. Of course the store in California didn't have it, but go to where it is FREEZING and there it was. Thank You!!Us at the Pinnacle Party! We had a great time!

Kadance couldn't wait to use her new robe. The day after leaving Idaho, in the hotel in Salt lake, just after her bath.Heaton found a new chair. This kept him occupied for quiet some time.
This is the aftermath of the stroller attacking Heaton. He was climbing in and slipped, and cut his eye on the metal foot part. So sad!!

Temple Square.

While in Salt Lake for the Pinnacle party , we decided to go to Temple Square. It was Freezing cold, but so beautiful. After looking at the lights for a while we stopped for some hot chocolate. It was wonderful!! While in the Joseph Smith building we saw Santa. Kadance was so excited!

SO pretty, and yes Heaton is in there somewhere trying to stay warm.

I think Heaton had just as much fun playing with the boxes as the actually present. Kadance and her new robe!! The look on her face was priceless when she first noticed what it was. Ever since she had a sleepover with Nana Heaton and saw her red robe she insisted that she needed one. She has worn it everyday since. Thanks Nana!!

Whats That?? Jake had this game that he insisted on us playing. Well it turns out that there is a red flashing light, and when it turns green you are supposed to push the button on the metal handle you are holding. The last one to push the button losses. When you lose, it shocks you. It is not just a little shock either. It is the kind that is so strong that even if you wanted to let go you couldn't cause it tenses up all your muscles. Needless to say it was pretty funny to see Jake get shocked! HA! HA!This is before Jake knew what was going on.

Hello Idaho!!

Yes, This is pretty scary!! Don't worry, this isn't an everyday event for him like it is for his father. He sure did enjoy it though. Makai's Potato head Christmas present from Kadance and Heaton. He loved it. He went and hid in the house to try and open it cause his mom said to wait until they got home. Pretty smart.

WINTER WONDERLAND!!

So we decided to go sledding with some friends today, and it was a blast!! When we moved to California we thought that we wouldn't really be too close to the snow. Well, we were so wrong!! Just 25 min down the road and HOLLY COW!! The kids of course had no snow pants, coats, boots, or gloves. We ran to the store and bought a few things and were on our way. It was not just a little snow either. It was so worth it!! The kids had a great time, and it made it feel so much more like Christmas time. I think i have gotten my FIX of snow for the whole month. Thanks Mark and Kari, and Nikki and Sam, for such a fun time!!
