Christmas Dinner

Seeing how we do not live by family, Christmas dinner is bound to be a little different. This year we decided to go enjoy all the food at the Christmas Buffet at a Casino just down the road. It ended up being really nice, not to mention that we were there with some great company! The Boyce's Joined us also. The kids had fun having some friends there to play with. GREAT DAY!!

Christmas Morning was Exciting as always. They were so happy to see the Santa and the Reindeer had found our house. I think they got everything they wanted and more. They played for hours, and just relaxed in their new chairs, and their blankets. IT has become much more nice to watch a movie. They both have their own spots, that don't include on top of me. becoming bigger the closer it gets to having this baby!! Kadance loves her new baby doll and stroller, and Heaton could spend hours playing with his train set. The nice thing about being in California is the weather. It is so nice that the kids can go outside and try out their new bikes. All in all it was a Wonderful day!!
The Reindeer always leave a mess outside.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve this year was just the four of us. OF course we miss our families, but it was nice and quite and it was nice to only be on our schedule. We stuck to tradition and had Ham and cheese sandwiches, followed by chocolate Fondue! IT was a BIG hit with the kids! Then off to open the P.J's and on to see the Christmas lights. We found a lot of great houses this year with tonz of lights. We drove along long enough to get the both of them to sleep, so as soon as we got home we were able to go play SANTA!!

So for Christmas this year we decided to make our tree. One that we could take down easily, would not shed, and most of all, that was all about the kids. Kadance of course loves Pink, and Heaton really could care less what it ended up looking like. Kadance loved being able to help paint it and put the Glitter on it. Heaton slept the whole time, but still says he made it. Heaton got the Blue presents and Kadance got the Pink ones. I have to say that we all love it!! I am so GLAD that Jake dosen't think i am too CRAZY when i think up some of these things. He does a great job building things, and i am sure that this won't be the last of them! I think he enjoyed it just as much as the kids!! It was a great family project , and one that we will have forever!
