Dieter Jacob Browning

Yes i am a little behind, but our little man is here!! Born Feb. 1st at 11:23 am. he weighed 8lbs 3ozs and was 22 inches long. I was a little surprised because my doctor said that he was going to be little. He even made me get an ultrasound to make sure that he was growing. Sorry DOC but that is not a small baby!! Anyway, I had told my doctor that i wanted to be induced so that my mom would be here. Jake is a great help in the delivery room, but lets be honest, he can sometimes get a little distracted by all the stuff going on! I really wanted my mom there for that extra support. Especially because i knew that i wanted to do it naturally again. SO the doctor decided that that would be fine. The day came and off to the hospital we went. They finally started me on pit at around 7:30 in the morning, and i didn't feel anything until around 8-8:30. I told the nurse to crank it up so we could get through it as fast as possible. the contractions came on strong and fast. All i know is that those hospital beds are the worst. I stood up and squatted the entire labor. Because of that they broke my water and inserted the baby heart rate monitor into the top of the baby's head so they could keep an accurate monitor on him. At around 11 i knew it was time. I got into the bed and as they were getting everything ready the baby heart rate monitor was not picking up little Dieters heart rate. They got a little worried and told me that i needed to get him out now!! I was not even having a contraction and they told me to push anyway! So 2 pushes later and out he came. Good thing to, because the cord was wrapped around his neck twice! I don't know what it is but all 3 of my kids have had the cord around their neck. That is why in these pictures his poor little face is so BLUE! Well i am proud to say that i did it natural again! I am so thankful to have him here safe and sound! HE is such a good little baby and Kadance and Heaton couldn't be more excited! Kadance has been such a great little Mommy! Heaton on the other hand loves to give him a quick kiss and off he goes playing with his toys. All in all we are loving the new addition and are so excited to see what the future holds.
