What a Morning!

So last night was a pretty normal night. I put Heaton to bed and then we went to bed. Bright and early this morning Heaton woke up, I went and got him to feed him and after he was done I let him just wonder. I just laid in bed being lazy when I couldn't hear him anymore. I got up to find him and this is what I saw. He apparently thought that the back side of the rug was comfy. He was out. He is so funny.Not too long after re waking up from the rug he was wanting to wonder some more. I thought that there was nothing in the front room that he couldn't get into. All of a sudden I heard some rattling and decided to go check on him. I guess Jake had left out a box of Milk Duds!! Heaton had dumped them out and started eating them. He is so sneaky these days. He had a mouth full. When I looked at him he knew that he was going to get them all taken away.

Well to say the least it has been a crazy Morning!!

I'm a Big Kid Now!

Heaton has decided that he needs to be able to sit at the table with Kandace and eat the same yummy French Toast Breakfast that she has about every morning. I gave in and let him try it and to my surprise he ate an entire piece and only fell off the table once. Good job Son!!
He ate it so fast i thought he was going to chock! He always had one piece in his mouth, one in his hand getting ready for the next bite, and the other hand was hovering just to make sure no one else took the other pieces. Silly Guy!!

Our Little Visitor

This is our morning visitor that hangs out on the porch until Kadance and Heaton scare him off. Kadance gets so excited and wants to pet him, but the minute he moves she freaks out. Heaton on the other hand has no fear. I can't let him get to close, cause I'm afraid he will just pick him up and try to eat him just like he does with everything else. Luckily for this little guy he got away and survived at least until tomorrow!Kadance trying to pet her little friend.

First Family Bike Ride!

As we listened to conference today Kadance was happily reading her scriptures and coloring. Towards the end of the first session she was wanting to go ride her bike so we decided to all go. We have had our bikes for about 2 years now and have hardily ever gotten to ride them. it is always too cold!! Now that we are living in California we are going to be able to take full advantage of the nice weather. We were just going to go on a quick ride but it turned into a 4 mile ride to the gas station to get an ICEE!! Kadance did so great! She finally had it about 1/3 mile from our apartment. she wasn't going any further, so Jake rode home, got the truck, and came to pick her up. It was so much fun and there will definitely be many of these little trips!!Heaton had such a great time he fell asleep and woke up at the very end.

Thanks Nana for my Book of Mormon!! She reads it every day to Heaton. It was perfect for Conference today. She can't wait to take it to church and show all her friends.

Doctors Visit

We got a little scare of what we thought could be the H1N1 flu. We decided to take Kandace to the doctor after listening to her cough for the past 5 days, having a fever, and sleeping the days away. she was a little nervous to go but once we got there she was so excited to play with the toys and sit on the turtle bed. Come to find out she just has a cold and she should be better soon. Thank Goodness!! The Doctor was great and once he gave her a Dora Sticker it was all good. Who new that the Doctors office could be so much fun!!
Of course Heaton was way to occupied playing instead of looking at me. Typical Boy!
